If you have a picture to enable us to fill the gaps or details of course held prior to 1967 please  send them to us to enable us to maintain a unique list of all Writers that joined the RAN. PERPETUAL TROPHY AND PRIZE

In 2006 the Association  donated a  perpetual trophy to be held at HMAS Cerberus which will have the name of the  most successful student on each Initial Writer Course engraved.

The most successful student on each Initial Writer Course will also be  awarded a book prize inscribed accordingly and a RAN Writers pen engraved  with their name.

In addition, to recognise the most successful student on the Advanced  (Professional) course each year they will be awarded a book prize and a RAN Writers pen.
